Everlast is an American company that makes boxing, mixed martial arts, and fitness equipment and clothing. It was started in 1910 by a 17-year-old Jacob Golomb in New York City. He originally called his company “Universal Sporting Goods” and made hand-wraps and boxing gloves. A few years later he renamed it “Everlast” and it became known for its boxing equipment.

Everlast provided equipment for some of the most iconic boxers of the 20th century, including Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, and Joe Louis In the 1960s and 1970s, the company expanded its product line to include fitness equipment and clothing, becoming a popular brand among bodybuilders and other fitness enthusiasts
