NFL Football Teams List In Alphabetical Order

The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America and is the highest level of American football in existence. It consists of 32 teams, with 16 each from both the National Football Conference (NFC) and American Football Conference (AFC).

The NFL’s regular season which spans 17 weeks commences in early September and concludes in late December. Each team participates in 16 games and has one bye week. After the regular season, seven teams from each conference progress to the playoffs, which is a single-elimination tournament culminating with the Super Bowl that takes place on first Sunday of February featuring the champions of AFC and NFC. The headquarter of the league is located in New York City.
